Let’s face it, selling and purchasing a new home is an extremely stressful thing to go through. We decided to open ourselves up to that adventure a couple weeks ago and we chose Gary Massa to be our realtor and guide us on that journey. Not only was Gary very informative and knowledgeable, but he was very kind and caring. I felt so taken care of, and trusted him to be honest with us, and he was. He kept in touch and put so much effort in all those years before, that he was the first call when we were looking to buy and sell in 2023. Gary and his team are incredible! My husband and I worked with Gary to buy a home for our family-- we were relocating from the Bay Area to San Diego. Gary came highly recommended by our realtor in the Bay. We had to do our search from the Bay Area, but Gary was awesome. Gary really helped us understand the different areas of San Diego and helped us narrow in on a few neighborhoods, based on our criteria. He was amazingly knowledgable, responsive, and friendly. He would hop on Zoom with us when we couldn't make it down to see the house in-person, he made these awesome neighborhood tour videos for us. He just put in so much time and effort: finding & touring homes, reviewing disclosures, helping us put together offers and negotiate, and helping us get ready for move in. And in the midst of a really insane real estate market, with crazy bidding wars, Gary was really level-headed and leveraged his relationship skills and knowledge to advocate for us at every stage. At every stage, we felt so supported by Gary and his team. We enjoyed working with Gary so much, that we worked with him again to help my parents buy a home in San Diego. They were based in IL and again Gary was amazing with helping them with a remote search. Gary was really empathetic, he has this amazing ability to modify his style to each person's needs-- how he worked with my parents was a little different from how he worked with me on my home search-- it was perfect for their needs. They wanted a home where they could age in place, and Gary was really helpful. I can't thank Gary and his team enough: for their professionalism, knowledge, and kindness. We are just so very grateful!

I wish I could give 6 stars for Gary. We had a very complex transaction, selling a house in Carlsbad, and buying a house in Cardiff (with a contingent offer in this market!). We were all under extreme time pressure to find a buyer and close on our old house before the close date on the new house. I don’t think it could have worked without Gary. His plan was very well organized, he wrote out a detailed timeline with specific milestones with contingency plans for each step. This allowed all of us (buyers and sellers) to work together towards the goal even when there were challenges and disagreements with the other parties along the way. Gary’s optimism and professionalism carried us through many dramas and I am thankful he was on our side. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
