If you take nothing else away from this review, at least remember this: Carmella is the best therapist at The NOW West Hollywood. Her touch is incredible, and she has an intuitive ability to target exactly where you need attention. Whether you’re dealing with stress, muscle tension, or just want to relax, she’ll make you feel like a whole new person by the end of the session. The environment at The NOW is also beautiful and serene, but Carmella truly sets the bar high. If you’re booking an appointment, do yourself a favor and request her—you won’t regret it!

I'm unfortunately moving away from CA and only just discovered Carmella a few sessions ago and I'm SO bummed I didn't work with her sooner!

Love The Now, my roommate introduced me to them (she has a monthly membership). I’ve gone twice now and I’ve really enjoyed both massages. Had Johnny today and it was great, he really targets points of tension and works out the knots. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and neck and he really helped ease the tightness and help me to relax. 10/10 service - will for sure be back to see Johnny and might even get a membership!

This place is a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, and the massage therapists are skilled at working out tensions seen and unseen. I love that they offer 35 and 55 minute sessions with upgrades, making self care accessible for all. I needed something impactful and quick, and they definitely did the trick!

Carmella is THE best. I’ve been a repeat customer for The Now for many years because the price, ambience and customer service can’t be beat. Johnny has become my go-to therapist whenever I visit The Now. I have chronic migraines exacerbated by tension headaches, and I was told by my doctor (embarrassingly for the past 5 years) that I needed to make regular massages a part of my routine. After an especially migraine-heavy month, I finally decided to get a membership at The Now. Since visiting Johnny every other week, I’ve gone from consistently having 2-3 debilitating migraines per week, to only one manageable migraine in the past two months. It’s totally changed my functionality, and now I prioritize my bi-weekly massage above everything else. I would recommend Johnny and The Now to anyone!! Bonus: if you happen to fall deeply asleep during your massage and begin snoring, the amazingly soothing sound of ocean waves crashing throughout the studio completely masks your snores, which for socially anxious people such as myself, is a huge plus.

I’ve been coming to The Now consistently for over a year and Michelle is by far the best massage therapist I have tried! She actually cares about your problem areas and checks in throughout to make sure the level of pressure is okay. I would highly recommend booking with her for your next massage!
