Lots of help here. Lots of services. Meals for new mothers, hearing checks, getting taxes done free of charge, therapy, food, the list goes on. Its is a very warm place where anyone can go for help for a great many things. Staff is always nice. Washrooms are clean, as is the rest of the building.

I called this centre to find out about electricity support program. They listed as intake agency on government web site to help with applications and questions regarding the process. I understand that we all going through difficult time but it does not mean we have to be rude to people and reduce service to zero. They are an essential service that tells you that there would not be any service at all. Person on the phone was rude. She just kept saying that they would not help. When I asked questions - no answers. Than she accused that we did not file taxes which I specifically said we did. Finaly she just raised her voice and said that they would not perform any service. It's hard to say why government put them as organization to help people they have to sort it out between themselves but to be rude and tell people off that is unacceptable. Its difficult times and it seams that some people blame everything on covid even their own desire not to do anything. I hope government will look in to such 'services' they are gov's employees in a way.
