Our interaction with Dr. Austin Ma was profoundly disheartening. The apparent indifference towards patient well-being was stark and unsettling. Persistent cancellations of appointments without notification by his staff reflected a concerning level of inefficiency. Waiting periods of up to 6 weeks for an appointment, particularly for cancer patients in urgent need, bordered on negligence. Our overall impression was one of profound disappointment. Regrettably, we are compelled to express our belief that Dr. Ma’s lack of care may have significantly contributed to the unfortunate outcome for my mom. Additionally, Dr. Ma’s failure to communicate with other members of my moms medical team (particularly the surgeon who was in charge of her case) further exacerbated the situation. If you find yourself assigned to Dr. Ma, we strongly urge seeking an alternative provider.

Dr Ma supervise my Oncology for colon cancer from about 2008 to 2017. After the actual infusions he followed me annually. He is one of the kindest physicians I have ever had contact with, and I look forward to being his patient again for my recent Reoccurrence of breast cancer I highly recommend him.

I met with Dr Ma regarding a breast cancer diagnosis. Dr Ma did not rush the appointment, he took his time explaining his plan for me. I found him easy to talk to, though I did have to ask more questions to clarify a few things. Found him to be personable. He came highly recommended by my primary dr and radiologist. The staff at his office were very good to work with.

Not a good Doctor. My sister who has stage 4 cancer was being treated by him. He ordered Chemo and she had it done... BUT has never met the guy. After the Chemo, She got Sepsis and he never even checked on her while in the hospital. She has changed Doctors since THANK GOD. He has too many facilities and can't take care of his patients obviously... he must be just collecting checks. My bet is, he doesn't even know she has changed Doctors.

Excellent clinical staff, but his billing and patient Administration is a daily problem. We were over charged $3,000 due to their administrative error and after a month and many promises we have yet to see a refund. Nearly every referral for treatment and lab test has had to be corrected and resubmitted causing needless delays in surgeries and imagery required for my wife. If you have to find Onocology support I would consider all your options before Dr. Ma’s clinic.

okay, I have no desire to bash this man. He is a sincere person, and truly wants to help. I have stage 4 cancer thru out my body, and, he only wants to see me every 2 months? I need a doctor who is on top of my treatment. Not someone who only wants to see me every 2 months! plus, he has my labs, but has not contacted me to tell me how I am doing. I feel like I am alone with this! I feel like I am failing under his care. He only is in the office one day a week! INCREDIBLE!

This guy is horrible. Recommended surgery instead of chemo and immunotherapy, which he should have seen from the PET scans that the tumor was too big to excise. A different oncologist, based on seeing the PET scans, said that he would never recommend surgery. Avoid Dr. Austin Ma at all costs!!

Dr. Ma is one of the Best, and is very kind and patient with me. He is quite on to of his game when it comes to his patients.
