NIT skating rink is one of the premium place where skaters from Nagpur and surrounding area practice. It's a good rink with one serious issue. There is a gap between rink area and the standing Ng area of the rink. This is dangerous especially for inline skaters. My daughter's inline got stuck in this groove and she got injured. Need to fix this ASAP. The toilet is in dilapidated condition as far as toilet bows and it's cleanings is concerned. There is only one toilet that too at the back side of the area with no lights near or inside the toilets. Rink need a rubber coating to be called as world class. There is no potable water facilities.
NIT fee is Rs 500 per month and you can practice in the evening 6 to 8 pm. Flood lights are there and are on for about 1 hour ( currently - June 2018 - it is from 7 to 8pm.
I have posted the pics of the groove and injury due to this fault.

This place is actually ment for skating and inline skates. I tried going there for my skateboarding but they don't allow you ?. And yeah upon that you gotta pay 500 fee every month these are the charges for a month of subscription.

National skating Ground in Nagpur , Best place for skating students to practise also it has a hanuman mandir in front of it where u can find best peace.

The place is good but having shortcomings,such as there is no cleanings it's full of dirty appearance,no parking arrangements,no security measure,no washrooms available for people visiting,after the sunset there is total darkness as there's no lighting arrangements.this is neglecting by authorities causing inconvenience to senior citizens who are coming there for morning &.evening walk regularly.
