If I could give Zero stars I would. I’m not a complainer. I usually only review to give kudos. The owner Sandra is by far the most unethical, and non-compassionate individual I’ve come across. She charged us for flaws that existed before move in. The property didn’t even look like it was ready for move in when we did. Carpets were dirty (we had them professionally cleaned by Zerorez and you should have seen the water afterwards). The blinds in the entire home upon move in were completely ruined. We had to put in a request to have them replaced. (Not sure why this wasn’t done before we moved in) Sink and toilets were leaking. Paint scuffed up throughout the home. Carpet had bald, missing patches. Smoke alarms didn’t work and air filter was black; yet we were going to be accountable if these things were not in working and clean order upon move out. Tile grout missing. Electrical issues upon move in; we had to put in several maintenance orders before we even moved in completely. We couldn’t even get into the garage the first week or so we lived there, but had tow stickers placed on our windows for parking outside when it’s mandatory to park in a garage that we are unable to open. when it did get fixed, the ONE remote we were provided for the garage was broken, so we had to buy another one. Our fridge went out while living in the house and it took them a month to have it fixed. Meanwhile we were trying to take care of our baby living out of coolers. I would leave voicemails regarding our garage being broken, along with several
Other issues as you can imagine, and didn’t receive any response for 4 weeks. We finally fixed it ourselves. VERY unprofessional property management group. Everyone on staff seems very unpleasant any and all the time. Sherrie is the person I had the least amount of issue working with; she seems to be the only one there that cares still. We fixed a lot of issues in the place and made it look amazing upon move out; then they had the gumption to take part of our deposit for the things that preexisted upon move in for us! The place looked spotless and move in ready when we moved out, yet they took OUR hard earned money and time. Not once did this property management do a walk through either In the time we resides there; which, in our lease terms, they were suppose to do 4 times in the period of time we lived there. So I’d love to let the property owner know who they’re employing to watch over their home. I would stay far away from this company to rent from or employ to manage your home. I’m not certain how they are still able to stay in business. Pictures are of what our place looked like when it was so called “move in ready” for us by this company. just so you’re aware this is not just a butt hurt post. All of the above is pure fact. That light bulb missing in the pic below was even something we were charged for. Everything we were charged for from our deposit actually was well documented in our walk through, as preexisting before we moved in. They took a hefty amount of our deposit upon move out for those said things. Expect to be manipulated and treated very unethically if you work with this company. They have a low rating for a very good reason.

After signing a lease and doing the walk through check in and turning it in. (Of course making a copy for myself) All the other previous reviews are spot on! Moved out and Sandra and her minions saying they never received nor have a record of the check in walk through paperwork. Stay far away from dealing with them! Crooks and you will not get your deposit back and have to move forward with filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

An Utterly Disappointing and Disgusting Experience with REMAX
Advantage and Chad Andrews

If it were possible to assign a zero-star rating, I would not hesitate to do so. My dealings with Remax Advantage, specifically under the management of Chad Andrews, have been nothing short of a nightmare. My tenancy concluded in November 2023, with the final inspection occurring in December 2023. Since then, the ordeal I've endured has been both exasperating and telling of the company's lack of professionalism and ethical standards.

In an effort to address what I believed to be unwarranted charges against me, I reached out to them on January 11th, requesting detailed invoices from All Green Restoration LLC (the repair company employed by Remax Advantage) as well as the original move-in inspection report. This was to contest and seek clarification on several charges that weren't on lease or on my move out report and that I found to be baseless, including but not limited to a bewildering $30 charge for a tub stopper. My request was met with a deafening silence originally. This unresponsiveness forced me to seek guidance from the Nevada tenant/rent association and to consult with legal counsel, especially after discovering discrepancies in my personal details on certain documents.

The situation has now taken a turn for the worse now that I received a bad check, further eroding my trust in their operations and causing unnecessary financial stress. This, despite the lease agreement clearly stating a refund was due within 30 days of the lease termination. This bounced check incident occurred amidst an ongoing dispute over additional funds that were originally promised to me upon returning a portion of my deposit.

I want to make it explicitly clear that I have meticulously documented every interaction with Remax Advantage—ranging from phone conversations and email exchanges to photographs documenting my claims. This level of documentation was necessary due to the sheer distrust their conduct has instilled in me.

Now, as we enter March, this ordeal has been unnecessarily dragged out for months. My preference would have been for Remax Advantage to rectify the situation promptly, allowing me to move on without further ado. Yet, their continued inaction and lack of communication force me to publicize this issue in hopes of a resolution. The response—or lack thereof—to my requests for clarification, proper documentation, and fair treatment, coupled with their failure to adhere to agreed-upon timelines and procedures, compels me to caution potential customers and renters against engaging with Remax Advantage.

DO NOT RENT WITH THEM!!

Their apparent disregard for professionalism, accountability, respect for tenants' rights, and financial integrity is deeply troubling. My experience suggests a significant lack of concern for customer satisfaction, adherence to fair business practices, and compliance with legal standards.

I strongly recommend seeking rental and property management services elsewhere, as my ordeal clearly illustrates a disregard for fundamental business ethics and customer care at Remax Advantage.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Engage with them at your own risk.

Just wondering with all the low ratings if these folks treated the staff at this location with any respect. You reap what you sow. They have been nothing but Excellent with me. Bonnie P and her associate Kristi are absolutely wonderful people. They have bent over backwards for me as a new Las Vegas resident. Be kind.

Tim Kuptz is racist lowkey. Also condescending to paying clients.

Their property management team of Kenia Portia and Michelle Leonard are extremely unprofessional, and do illegal actions outside of signed contracts. They will also harass you and call/email 5+ times in a day over HOAnissues but won’t return calls about plumbing and septic leaks

This location exhibits terrible customer service.
They will find any reach to get money out of you. For an error made of their end, it cost over 1400$ from my pocket that they refused to fix or even begin to admit fault.

Looking for a realtor? I don't recommend going through here. They will lie to you out of laziness. We were interested in other rental properties and immediately would get told that they had apps on them about five minutes later after asking about them. When I contacted those properties individually, they would tell me that they didn't have apps and their listing just went up.

Good luck getting into contact with them. Once they take your money, they disappear like ghosts. Calling the office is useless because they always allow their calls to go to voicemail and IF they decide to get back to you, you can ensure it'll take at least two business days

We had our ac fall through the ceiling during the middle of summer and it took multiple tries over the course of a week to get ahold of them.
If you are looking through these reviews wondering if you should go with them, take this as a sign and don't.

Poor customer service. Terrible attitude. Even worse communication. I hope ReMax figures out a better staff for this location. Because all this staff does is continuously stain the remax image.

Sandra Thomas still will not return my phone calls or e-mails. She won't come out and talk to me when I show up in office either. She will not provide proof that she ran my credit. On my end, my credit was never run by ReMax Advantage. If they refuse to do their job, they should not be keeping my application fee. I understand it was supposed to be non-refundable, but that was only if they did their job, which it seems Sandra Thomas isn't capable of doing. I don't think she needs to keep the $150 application fee of a hardworking teacher to pay for her white Escalade, when she doesn't seem to put any work into her job, seeing as she doesn't actually process applications or run your credit like she claims. She is a lying thief. I would give her 0 out of 5 stars if that was possible.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. This agency's lack of response and follow up is extremely disappointing and frustrating. I just don't understand how I submitted an application to rent a property and still have yet to hear back, after 7 full business days. I went in and they openly admitted to accepting as many applications as they want until an applicant is accepted, which is $75-$100 each. I can understand accepting the apps and charging for them, but to not even follow up and let me know that it was denied or whatever the case may be seems really shady. Are you just taking people's money with no plan to even run the apps? After going to other agencies, most will either accept several applications but only charge you if you're accepted or they won't even accept more than one application at a time. Seems more ethical than how Remax does business. If I'm coming to you, it's because I need assistance with renting a home, not to just give my money away. Crooks. The agent I dealt with was Sandra Thomas, but the other staff was just as unprofessional and dismissive as she was.

Go up
