Do not use this property management group! I had them for four years. They got a renter in there, collected their fees and that is it. They failed to do any inspections providing us with four pictures and zero documentation regarding inspections. A window was broken out of the garage the neighbors say happened two years prior to moving out and was never fixed. I received notice after notice from the hoa regarding violations, such as trash cans being left out and the landscaping that were never resolved. Chad called me in July to ask if they renter can sign another year lease and I said OK not knowing the extent of the damage and that was the last I heard. The tenant moved out and remax did not notify us for two or three weeks. When I ask Chad that I thought they had signed a lease, he said No, because we went in and saw damage to the house we said the tenant has to fix the issues and they refused so they were on month to month. I was never notified therefore when they suddenly moved out I was caught off guard. The tenant did more then $6,000 in damages. 3 broken doors, a broken window, cat urine all over the carpet, broken garbage disposal, broken solar screens. When I gave Chad the opportunity to do the repairs he would lead me on having me believe the work was being done when in fact nothing had even started. When I finally fired him and asked for my money owed I still have not received it after so far five days. I still don't have the money owed. I really don't have time to write more, but I feel like I can save someone the headache of dealing with this group because you can't get worse then these guys. Email response time was terrible. Phone calls were not returned. Terrible terrible terrible.

They charged us for things that were listed on the move-in sheet and are refusing to give us the rest of our deposit.

My husband and I rented a property that they “managed”. They took over the lease from another realtor and never saw the property until Victor did the final walk through. I spoke to him after he did the walk through and he said that it was the nicest that anyone had left a rental of any that he’d seen. He said that the owner, who had gone with him, was very pleased with the way the house was left. Victor told me that he’d told the powers that be that we should receive a full refund of our deposit.

Let me say that again...the only people who actually visited the property recommended that we should have received our deposit back.

When we finally got our deposit back, they had drummed up a $65 charge, claiming that pull strings that fell off on their own from garbage blinds that never stayed on were something that needed to be repaired by a handyman. (Fun fact - they’ll just fall off again.) They also claimed that we were responsible for the folding closet doors missing a piece that kept it on its track. The washer and dryer were changed out immediately before we moved in and then we never did anything but open the doors a handful of times. My guess would be that it was removed when they put those in - BEFORE WE MOVED IN!

***EDIT - Just found our move in sheet. Both the closet door hanging low and the pull string being broken were documented. It seems that they didn’t bother to look at the move in sheet before charging us for these things.

In all of the properties we’ve ever rented, we’ve never had any of our security held back - because we take exceptional care of them. I’d always heard that landlords will find any reason they possibly can to charge you but this is the first time that we’ve found that to be true.

Good luck if you’re a tenant and these people are the “managers”. They’ll give you a lot of lip service but won’t actually address any issues you have and then will rob you when you move out.

First, I want to say that I have absolutely no time to do reviews. Yet, it would almost be irresponsible if I did not leave a review for RE/MAX. If you're looking for a professional company who is there to take care of your property whether it be renting it out or managing it, this is who you want to hire. I spoke with 3 different management companies before I reached Chad at RE/MAX. I fired the other company to hire Chad, because during my conversation with him, I knew I found the company that was right for me. Not only are his prices best in the business, but even if he charged me $400 more, I'd have still hired him. This is a very professional, caring, and knowledgable company. I hired them on 5/19/2014 and they found me a great tenant on 5/27th. I called him several times a day, and each time I spoke with Chad, he was understanding and caring and never made me feel like I was bothering him. He went and checked out things in my property that he didn't even get paid for. I felt as though I had a friend who was looking after my property. It doesn't get better than this!

This group is horrible. Hands down. I had an ex that was living in a house I was the renter on and I was treated like I had no legal rights. When it was time to get the security deposit back I called them and gave them my forwarding address and they assured me that it would be sent to where I wanted it. Jelsi and Anarely Cuevas were the two people that reassured me through email and phone calls. The refund was NOT sent to the address I provided as the primary lease holder but to the address that was provided by the other people. Anarely and Jelsi both lack integrity and business skills. I will be contacting the BB and filing a formal complaint as well.

DO NOT USE!!!! As a renter, if i could give them a zero, I would. Rude all around, late on sending HOA violations(if any), will cancel an appointment without notifying you. Was never aloud to speak directly with Chad about issues I had concerns about and just got stuck with talking with his rude wife. Please consider other options, they are not reliable and not friendly to deal with- terrible coustomer service. Do not recommend at any capacity.

Zero out of zero. These people are non responsive. God forbid an emergency on the weekend, you're SOL. If you have a repair issue, they send the same dude out no matter the issue: landscaping, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, same person who is not qualified in any specialty repairs, just as a band aid. They have not sent a certified repair technician for any reason. What that means to me is that they are not even contacting the home warranty company but pocketing the money and using Condido for everything. Crooks, thieves, liars. They care more about the profit than the property.

Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. My experience was nothing but exceptional and thorough!! Keep up the great work!!
