I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Serenity Massage & Day Spa. I got the 90 minute Mind, Body, and Soul massage and was seen by Sheila. She was so skilled and attentive to the areas where I'd mentioned holding extra tension, and her massage left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I will definitely be back to see her again and I was extremely happy overall with my time at Serenity.

I was recently treated very poorly by receptionist Cindy Phillips. I called in the morning of my appointment because I had not received a confirmation text and I was told over the phone that my appointment was at 11:30am. I arrived at 11:27am and I was told that I was an hour late. Now usually I’m very considerate and I completely understand that mistakes happen, but the receptionist Cindy Phillips proceeded to have a horrible attitude with me and didn’t even apologize for my inconvenience. She repeatedly stated that, “Kevin (the guy who confirmed my appointment time), didn’t make a mistake and I was the one that was mistaken.” I didn’t appreciate her attitude at all. I really did enjoy my previous massage with Shelia and was looking forward to another one, but after being treated so poorly I do not plan on returning.

Emily is absolute legend! it was the best experience. I felt like a new person after! And her voice is so sweet and calming, soft spoken And may I add she's very beautiful And she has the healing touch emotional, mental and spiritual, world's best therapist, She is so great I can't say enough great things about her.

I received a deep tissue massage from Jena S and it was lovely. She did a great job of making me feel relaxed and comfortable and addressed all of my problem areas while making adjustments to pressure and such as needed. This was my second deep tissue massage at Serenity and I will definitely be back to see Jena again.

EDIT: The spa owners reached out to me, apologized for my experience, and scheduled me for a complimentary massage with Jena. Jena did an amazing job! She was attentive, listened to my needs, and searched out areas that needed more work. Jena provided an entirely different experience to my first massage at Serenity. I would definitely recommend her!

Original Review: I had a prenatal massage yesterday. The atmosphere of the spa is very inviting, clean, and relaxing. The receptionist and therapist were both very welcoming and professional. The therapist made me feel comfortable and asked questions about my desires for the massage. But when it came to the actual massage, I left feeling disappointed. The pressure given during the massage was barely enough to rub lotion in. When I told the therapist I could handle a lot more pressure, she responded, but I could tell no difference in the pressure. So I asked again for a lot more pressure. And again, I could tell no difference. After 60 minutes, I was relaxed, but my back pain and shoulder and hip tightness were unaffected. I probably won’t return to Serenity for fear that I’ll waste another $100 and hour of my time.

Kevin had the hands of a healer. I’ve never had a massage be so immediately beneficial to my chronic pain. Kevin knew exactly how to handle sciatica! Very grateful for your knowledgeable approach, thank yall!
