Me and my husband went in for our first ever professional massage experience yesterday. The man who was massaging me was pressing on me so hard I held my breath and clenched my fists involuntarily during most of the appointment because of the pain. He pressed directly on my spine all the way down over and over. it hurt so bad but as it was my first experience I didn’t know if this was normal or not so I thought maybe it was just me and I didn’t want to complain because I felt self conscious. Regardless, I said “ow” multiple times and received a laugh in return. My entire spine from top to bottom is bruised today and I can barely move. I’ve asked around to multiple people who have experienced many massages and other massage therapists who assure me this level of pain indicates they were too rough on me and should have never been pushing directly on my spine. I’ve also been told I should have been asked if the goal was more for relaxation as opposed to therapeutic and if the amount of pressure being applied was comfortable. I left thinking the level of pain was normal and would go away. It didn’t and today is so much worse. Make sure you are vocal here in what is comfortable for you because you might not be asked. Like I said, it was my first time so I didn’t know what was normal or what to expect so I didn’t speak up when I should have because my first experience was an awful one ?

Best massage I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot. I’ve never experienced a true “deep tissue” like this. Roxy was fantastic. I don’t get some of the negative or funky comments below. Roxy wouldn’t accept a tip until the end, she was early, and no interruptions at all. It was a truly perfect. Thanks Roxy!

Update; Daniel is no longer there so I booked a deep tissue/therapeutic massage with Roxy. It was excellent. She offered to use her feet if I needed to go ultra deep. Lol Her pressure was awesome. She does all the scheduling and warned me she might need to take some calls but she didn't pause working nor lighten her pressure during the calls (2 or 3). I'm totally fine with that, I'm there for pain relief, not relaxation. I can relax at home all I want. I highly recommend Roxy!

Original: Booked a same day massage with Daniel. I like deep tissue and he did not disappoint. Actually, I'm very picky about my massages. After my last spa closed down in December, I tried to find another spa to replace it. I will definitely be back here and looking forward to it!

Absolutely terrible service. I walked in with my partner to get him into his appointment I had booked and a woman at the desk asked me and him to go into the room and wait for the massage therapist. The lady was not only almost 10 minutes late for our appointment but she was extremely rude and disrespectful. She forced me out of the room, had an attitude, would not let me talk or explain anything to her, because clearly the employees there do not communicate about their policies to each other and they communicated differently to me. She refused to let me speak to a manager and would not provide the owners contact information. She gave me a business card with the store number on it. When I asked her if she was ready to begin the session because she was already late she said “my clients know I’m late”. Mind you, this was our first time there so I was not communicated this. The lady name was Roxy. If you ever decide to go here do not book with Roxy. Do not go to this place in general, it was extremely unprofessional.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I tried this place for the first time today (June 2022) and made a same day appointment for the afternoon time. I have never been more pleased with the level of care, expertise, friendliness, and cleanliness!!! I have some hip pain along with tight glutes, and the massage therapist knew just what to do to help me! I felt amazing after my appointment! She was very professional and made me feel extremely comfortable, which is what I like most! She was easy to talk to and was communicating with me about the pressure and adjusted well if I needed a little lighter hand. Overall, I would recommend Serenity Massage to everyone looking for a fantastic massage! 10/10!

We booked a 90 minute hot stone couples massage. The place had a nice atmosphere, but it was a little small. The therapists were very thorough, but this was definitely a deep tissue massage. This was more a therapeutic massage than a relaxing one. We’re used to getting massages at least once a month, but this massage was a little intense for my tastes and I definitely felt it the next morning.

Got a couples massage after our Valentine’s Day dinner. One of the best massages we’ve had! They were very thorough and not afraid to put the pressure, so make sure you let them know your tolerance! 5-star! ( make sure you tip! )

I've had several massages at this spa. They've all been excellent. One time in particular, I'd had a problem with sciatica due to driving a lot. The masseuse knew just how to treat it and solved the problem for me which, if you've ever suffered from sciatica, you know is rare. Recommend!
